Our Student Welfare Worker is funded by the National Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program.

The Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) has contributed funding to the chaplaincy/student welfare services though the National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program. All student welfare workers who operate this program have a Certificate 1V in Youth Work, Pastoral Care or equivalent. This program is part of our comprehensive school welfare strategy. The school community has endorsed the program. This is a three year program: 2012, 2013 and 2014.

I would like to remind parents that participation is voluntary.  Parents can opt out of the program by filling out the form that was sent home or located in the Notes and Excurions Menu.

Our school took this opportunity to enhance our school student welfare resources and to work closely with our community.

Please direct any concerns or complaints to the principal, Jenny Quist on 48894250.

There are more details about the program located on the 'Caring for students' top menu.
